BIO
Danilo was born in 1971 and has always been fascinated by photography and the communicative power of images. He seeks human presence in his pictures.
His main interests are social, war and post-war reportage but he is also experienced in the field of fashion and advertising.
Danilo has worked as a professional photographer since 1996.
Graduated from the High School of Photography of Rome, specialisation in social reportage.
He contibutes regularly for Italian and foreign Photo-Agencies and his photograph and stories have been published in National and International newspapers.
He has worked in various African states covering important events as a stringer for AFP on Humanitarian and Political stories.
He also has worked in Romania, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Israel, etc..
Awards winner photographer,In 2008 his photographs have received 2 bronze award from Orvieto International Photography Awards in Italy and various national and international prizes.
3rd Place in B.O.P. 2009 photojournalism.
His picture of italian earthquake is on Pictures of the year on LIFE Magazine 2009 |
